Response Training
With all of the Active shooter events happening across the world, it only makes sense to be prepared.
The Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE) course, designed and built on the Avoid, Deny, Defend (ADD) strategy developed by the Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training (ALERRT) at Texas State University in 2004, provides strategies, guidance, and a proven plan for surviving an active shooter event. In 2013, ALERRT was named the National Standard in Active Shooter Response Training by the FBI.
This training is being offered to Houses of Worship and Non-Profit Organizations in Forsyth County, NC.
Topics include the history and prevalence of active shooter events, civilian response options, and demonstrates examples of things to do in case of an active shooter event. This potentially lifesaving progrm will address what individuals need to know to look out for their individual safety. There is no charge for this training.
Please note: the presentation contains realistic material and reenactments that some attendees may find graphic in nature. Discretion for sensitive audiences is advised. This is not a class for young children, please do not allow them to attend.
