Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE)

With all of the Active shooter events happening across the world, it only makes sense to be prepared. Sign up and receive FREE training from the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office about what it takes to keep you safe!

The Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE) course, designed and built on the Avoid, Deny, Defend (ADD) strategy developed by the Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training (ALERRT) at Texas State University in 2004, provides strategies, guidance, and a proven plan for surviving an active shooter event. In 2013, ALERRT was named the National Standard in Active Shooter Response Training by the FBI.

This is an online webinar training being offered to individuals, schools, colleges, businesses, hospitals and places of worship.

This potentially lifesaving program is open to the public and will address what individuals need to know to look out for their individual safety.
